REACH’s new album, Genesis, seeks to further close the gap between high musical artistry and craftsmanship and audience relatability. Songs like “B Funk” and “Blues Clues” demonstrate the band’s ability to take one on a complete journey in and out of time and feel changes over sophisticated lines, riffs and syncopation while being able to keep listener right by their sides – groovin’. Songs like “Major Elation” and “Sweet Nothings” show REACH’s capability to unwind and set the listeners mind afloat on a cloud of soothing tones and textures. Genesis is an album for ALL people, and the beginning of many and greater of it’s kind.
